Heatless hair curler set made from left over fabrics.
I’d been trying to work out what to do with the left over from satin skirt alterations for a while, when I decided I wanted to curl my hair without using heat. Curlers I found in shops had foam in which were hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, it suddenly came to me that I could make my own. The first set I made myself (the amber colour pictured) were made from a bridesmaids dress that needed shortening.
Each set is stuffed with toy stuffing which means they are washable (30 degrees or cooler) and comes with matching scrunchies to keep them in all night.
The turquoise zebra print set is made from left overs from a dress alteration.
The celestial print satin and the leaf print satin both come from left over fabric from previous projects, both deadstock fabrics bought from a market stall in Milton Keynes.
